As a means of enhancing easy accessibility and wider circulation of her daily devotional guide, the Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM) has unveiled a rebranded Daily Manna with a website and an App for her global audience.
The media launch which held on Wednesday at the International Headquarters of the Church, had in attendance notable guests including Mr Taiwo Kupolati (SAN), Chairman of the occasion; Pastor John Akinwande, the Lagos Moderator; Chairman of the Daily Manna Editorial Board, Pastor Segun Babatope and all the members of his team.
This comes as the Daily Manna Editorial Board directed the discontinuation of the WhatsApp circulation of the daily devotional from January 1, 2023, which attracted mixed reactions from loyal users and members, as they entered the New Year with a sudden change.
However, the General Superintendent of the DCLM, Pastor W. F. Kumuyi, said that the Daily Manna, as a daily guide has been made accessible, through the website and the App, for every individual to enjoy both audio and e-copy directly from their phones and other electronic gadgets from anywhere around the world through data-enabling devices.
Pastor Kumuyi, who was represented by the Church Secretary, Pastor Samuel Afuwape, explained that the Daily Manna is designed to simplify the Bible for the easy comprehension of faithful Christians.
The Keynote Speaker, Prof R. T. Akinyele, remarked on the importance of the Daily Manna, which has become a household feature in many Christian homes, who use it daily as a vintage guide for personal and family devotion and fellowship.
He further hinted on the essence of such spiritual guide in this age and time when humanity is in deep agony and travail, with no hope of solution in sight, except in the Holy Writs.
According to him: “This situation has pushed men and women, old and young, into resorting to solutions that only lead to deeper quagmire, unfulfilled aspirations and, simply, more headaches. The dream of a beautiful, peaceful, fruitful and fulfilling life now seems like a mirage to many people with each passing day.”
Speaking on the benefits of the Daily Manna, Prof. Akinyele, who is also the Vice-Chancellor of Maranatha University, Lagos, said it provides answers to man’s problems in line with God’s infallible mind.
“The Daily Manna offers a simple-to-follow and refreshing platform to connect with God seamlessly, wisely and most efficiently every day. It enables the reader to cultivate an unassailable foundation in God and unbroken funnel into the ever flourishing provisions in His Living Spring. Indeed, this devotional is bound to become the national devotional here and in other countries.
“The assurance of abiding calmness, healing and sustenance that the diligent reader stands to access from Daily Manna takes him far above the tumultuous, weariness, and disorderliness of today’s topsy-turvy world. Its aesthetics has been greatly enhanced with the introduction of two editions – the paperback (standard) and the deluxe version produced in leather cover”.
