In what has been described by many as beating below the belt, fans of ace gospel singer Tope Alabi have taken to their IG’s handles to vehemently condemn her recent criticism of the hit track of an upcoming gospel singer, Adeyinka Alaseyori’s Oniduro mi.

In her latest video, Alabi denigrated the song that has since gone viral in many Christian assemblies “Oniduro mi e seun o”, saying God is more than Oniduro, which means guarantor or advocate, that he is our saviour because he died for mankind.

Alabi therefore dissuaded people from singing the song, describing it as an inappropriate adjective for God.

Her fans however gave it back to her hot hot, telling her to her face that her action was informed by mere jealousy. They dragged her back to her Olorun Ajanaku days, reminding her that God is actually man’s advocate not Ajanaku like she previously sang.

Alabi’s followers who didn’t mince words at all, laid it bare to her that she must make an unreserved apology to Alaseyori for trying to pull down her ministry.

Some of their comments below reveal their depth of indignation against the popular gospel singer.

Ewa says” Ma read 2nd Timothy 4v17 and get back to us ma. Talking down on another minister of God is so wrong and bad… I’m highly disappointed in you”

Freejistgja comment thus: ” You can never fight a battle God has already worn. Oniduro mi was a hit and still liked by many. I am disappointed in you aunty Tope. In fact you fall my hands….”

Sleekvalerie remarks ” Aunty Tope onilara, Emi mimo said you shld gbenu soun abi? Secretary to the Holy Spirit, you have no right to discredit another person’s song. Awon born against.”

Olateeguru comments” Pele o Olorun Ajanaku’s daughter. Ajanaku na your oniduro?

Meanwhile, @Adeyinkaalaseyori is yet to respond to the critique of her hit track.
